While the group’s live performance is most known for its trademark “senzuri” or masturbation material, the band has had some other legendary shows. One show promised a limited-edition flexi-disc to those in attendance, but Yamanouchi burned all 2000 flexi-discs on stage with Gero 30 masturbating furiously beside him. The name comes from a combination of the Japanese word for vomit (gero) and diarrhea (geri) and the apparent sound of the two happening simultaneously (gegege). Consequently, Yamanouchi labeled it “Japanese Ultra Shit Band.”
Cool Japanese pop-punk bands!
